you can call me. i'll feel bad for you. they suck.
1) i sometimes sleep with one of the baby blankets my sister gave me, but i SWEAR it's also because i love the smell of her detergent.
2) mark left me alone for a few hours yesterday, and he came home to find a dishtowel wrapped in a baby blanket fastened securely in our carseat. i have NO idea how that got there.after a couple days, we headed to the family cabin. there's not even electricity at this place, let alone tv. that means we get to do lots of cool other things. mark got to dirt bike with a bicycle helmet. i'm so glad to know his brain was safe.
he and my brother paul chopped down a tree. now doesn't that beat sitting around watching sports??? i hope this picture isn't incriminating... it definitely wasn't a legal chopping...
we went hiking, but let it be known that there were two trails leading to the same location: one that took almost two hours and one that took fifteen minutes. i'll let you guess which one i opted for...
we had fun driving around the mountainside...
colby made sure he and paul got in plenty of time to shoot guns...
andrea and paul caught a tarantula, which is now andrea's new pet at byu...
my two oldest brothers still teased me like they were 10 (and laughed like little girls)...
we made/ate penuche, which is pretty much the anti-dentist...
my dad got to work on his motorcycles. i hope they're still safe - we caught my 4-year old nephew colby unscrewing random screws at one point. good luck to those who ride in the future...
after we got back, they took a boat ride...
tubing is vicious. one moment you look like this (happy)...
and the next looks like this (in pain). that's why i avoid it at all costs (that and my extreme wimpiness)...
and lastly the guys got in lots of racketball with some ultimate frisbee mixed in.
poor mark is still off school for another week, but i had to go back to work. that means he has to sit at home by himself. :( i guess he should enjoy it. starting in 4 weeks, i have a feeling he's not going to be getting much r&r time.
